The Mighty Miggy Cabrera

Lets face it, we all can agree that Miguel Cabrera has been playing some of the best baseball and best hitting we have seen in years. If we looked up slugger in the dictionary there should be a photo of him placed right below the definition. Miggy has so far hit 13 homeruns and has recently come off a three homer game. He has become the first player in MLB history to have hit three home runs in one game after winning the triple crown the year before. If he was around back in the backyard baseball days he would be rated 6 stars out of 5 in power and hitting.

Cabrera has accumulated a total of 334 homeruns so far in his career and he is ranked 100 for total career homeruns hit. Obviously it seems that he has a long way to go to catch up to the great ball hitters of our history but, being only 30 years young if he keeps up this type of slugging he could be well on his way up near the likes of Babe Ruth and Willie Mays in the rankings. So hats off to the Mighty Miggy and maybe he can bring Tigers back to the World Series again this season.
